I'm a senior software engineer with 18+ years building SaaS products, now focused on generative AI systems, agent platforms, and production LLM infrastructure. At Internet Brands (WebMD's parent company) I build production agent platforms end-to-end — multi-agent orchestration, RAG pipelines, and enterprise-scale LLM operations serving millions of users — including a physician-facing conversational AI on Medscape. I'm also one of the original builders of LibreChat, a widely used open-source generative AI application (acquired by ClickHouse in 2025), and the author of Flex 4 in Action (Manning).

I write here about what actually works when you take AI agents from demo to production: the architecture patterns that survive real traffic, the ones that don't, and the gap between the papers and the systems.
